Borealis AI is a research institute at RBC. Their focus is on conducting fundamental research and building products that push artificial intelligence while shaping the future of finance.
We overhauled their website hierarchy and design to help increase site traffic and attract potential future employees. As the lead product designer, I worked on this from start to finish, creating site maps & mood boards, conducting stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, UX and visual design.

After conducting stakeholder interviews and reaffirming their objectives, I got down to the nitty-gritty. I created a competitor analysis, an updated site map, user journeys, wireframes, and a creative direction proposal.

Once Borealis selected the creative direction that best reflected them, I started flushing out all the site elements and components. While building the template, I incorporated consistent patterns that scaled on all devices.

I then passed the baton to our fantastic development team and worked with them to help shape the site and nail down the interactions. We ended up giving the client the site of their dreams.
