Spin Master E-Commerce
Spin Master was quickly growing and diversifying its portfolio of brands and products. It was becoming ever more apparent that they needed more ways to get their products into consumer’s hands. Spin Master’s main focus was on the creation of tangible products and traditional in-store marketing. Spin Master needed help modernizing their branded shopping experience, a venture that proved not only successful but profitable for Spin Master in under one year.

The Experience
I researched Spin Master’s current e-commerce platform. The experience was dated and considered to be unnecessary. We interviewed stakeholders and took into account the company growth goals as we formed a list of must-haves.
At this point, we developed a new site architecture. The user-flow was a concise and straightforward process so that consumers can shop with ease. I was also mindful of everyday user habits, focusing on sale products and new arrivals. We took a responsive/adapted approach regarding the site experience.

To compete with other power-house toy companies, Spin Master needed a digital facelift. Using the E-commerce relaunch as a test pilot, I developed a new colour palette, photography, asset arrangements, and font treatment to complement and modernize Spin Master. This experiment in rebranding was successful and would later influence the Spin Master company’s full rebrand, inside and out.
